Dr Dom Jackson-Cole
Dr Dom Jackson-Cole has nearly two decades of experience as a trainer and facilitator across a variety of sectors. He has worked with community leaders, students, academics and executives in the UK, Belgium, Poland, Japan and Brazil. His expertise is in race and racism in higher education, film and media, harassment and bullying, and unconscious and implicit bias.
Dom is currently the EDI Learning Advisor at SOAS University of London and a member of the Universities UK Advisory Board on tackling racial harassment. Dom’s PhD explored whiteness in postgraduate STEM education in England. He also holds a masters degree in education from the University of Cambridge. Previously Dom helped shape national Widening Participation strategy while working for the Higher Education Funding Council for England (the predecessor of the Office for Students) and was a part of the Kingston University EDI team which was at the forefront of closing the racialised degree awarding gap.
